the Ride Again Project: Community Block Party + Board Drive

Saturday, July 18 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
206 N. Freeman Street, Oceanside

We're proud to partner with three incredible local nonprofits to bring the Ride Again Project: Oceanside Boardriders Club, Lived Experiences, and Un Mar De Colores, along with some of our favorite local businesses to collect new and gently used boards & gear and get it into the hands of local youth who will truly benefit from it.

Have a surfboard, skateboard, helmet, pair of skate shoes, wetsuit, or other gear collecting dust? Bring it with you!

Every donation helps create opportunities for local kids to experience skateboarding, surfing, and the confidence, community, and lifelong friendships that come with them.

Admission is FREE, and we encourage everyone to bring a new or gently used donation if they're able.

Want to upgrade your experience? Purchase a $20 Preferred Area wristband, which includes:

- One beer or coffee/ matcha from Communal
- One Grubby's taco &
- One musubi from Shoots

Wristbands are available in advance or at the event while supplies last.

What to expect:

- Live music with DJ Chaps
- Pro BMX demonstration featuring Cory Nastazio
- Local food, drinks, and vendors
- Family-friendly activities
- Great people, great energy, and an even greater cause

Clean out your garage, invite your friends and family, and join the Solis Team and our community as we help more local kids get back out there and Ride Again.

Thank you to our community for another great 'Music for the People' fundraiser!
Over the past few years, we've been able to raise around $12,000 for local families and charities.

Thank you to the local businesses/sponsors, and the community for the support!

This year, we raised funds for an amazing cause. 'Got Your Back, San Diego' is located right here in Oceanside. GYBSD is a weekend food assistance program for children attending San Diego County schools, whose main source of nutrition is cafeteria food Monday through Friday but, apart from school, lack a reliable food source on Saturday and Sunday. As a result, many of these children must endure entire weekends with little to nothing to eat.

Our goal for our annual ‘Music for the People’ fundraising event is to:
1. bring the community together
2. support local businesses through sponsorships, advertising etc., and
3. to raise funds for those around us, who need it most.

Our first year running this event in 2021 during the pandemic, we raised over $3,000 during thanksgiving for local families in need [thank you to o’side kitchen collaborative & brother bennos].

In 2022, we more than doubled the previous year with our event up at Goat Hill! Thank you to the community for supporting and helping us raise over $6,000 for "Last Chance at Life" Animal Rescue, Humanity Showers, and Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.
Thank you to this year's sponsors!
